Academic Resources

Student Handbooks

The 2009–2010 Ford School Student Handbooks are available for download here, as PDF files. In an effort to conserve resources and provide a more functional and searchable document, the Ford School moved to an online handbook model for this academic year. You may download, view, and print this handbook as necessary.

Students are held to the standards outlined in the Handbook for the year they enter their Ford School degree program. Please contact Student and Academic Services with any questions.

Writing Tutors

Elena Delbanco and David Morse are available to meet with Ford School students individually about their writing, on an appointment basis. We encourage you to bring in all forms of writing, from policy memos and proposals to op-eds to resumes and cover letters. We’re also happy to read student work at any stage of completion, from a rough outline to a finished draft.

For the academic year 09–10, Elena is available to meet with graduate students on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. David is available to meet with graduate students on Mondays and Fridays and with undergraduates on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Students should sign up for appointments using the web-based scheduler available via the two weblinks below. Available appointment times will be posted by Elena and David according to the schedule detailed on each of their respective websites.

The Ford School believes the cultivation of sound writing skills to be an essential component of a public policy education. We hope you agree, and we look forward to working with you in the near future!
