GSIs will lead 2 discussion sections; grade exams and writing assignments; assist with exam preparation and grading; and hold office hours. Leading a discussion section will often entail covering materials that are assigned for the course but that are not covered in lectures. COMPETENCIES: GSIs should have a strong background in political science, especially American politics.
