Biography:
Rachel Augustine Potter is a Ph.D. student in the joint program in political science and public policy. Her research interests include the bureaucracy and American political institutions more broadly. Prior to her arrival in Ann Arbor, she earned a B.A. from Boston College, where she graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, and an M.P.P. from the University of Southern California, where she was a Dean’s Merit Scholar. Rachel has worked for a number of governmental institutions, including the White House Office of Management and Budget, the U.S. Government Accountability Office, and the German Federal Ministry of the Interior. She is the recipient of both the Presidential Management Fellowship and the Robert Bosch Fellowship.http://www-personal.umich.edu/~rapotter/
