Jonthan Katz, a writer and reporter, will draw upon his recent book, The Big Truck that Went By, to discuss issues surrounding international aid in Haiti post January 2010 earthquake.

The Conference is an event initiated in 2010 to create an avenue and forum for policymakers, academics, the Pakistani community, and students interested in the country to come together and discuss the pressing events of the day, as well as to clear misconceptions surrounding Pakistan.

Please join us for a public reception on April 16th, when we welcome General Brent Scowcroft (ret.) to deliver remarks at the installation of a scaled model of the statue of President Ford from the U.S. Capitol Rotunda.

Many have argued that providing information early in students' high school years might build more expectations about college attendance. Eric Bettinger will present findings that test these and other theories on college attendance.
