Ambassador Hill was part of the team that negotiated the Bosnian Peace Settlement in 1995, headed the U.S. delegation to the six-party talks for resolving the 2005 North Korean nuclear crisis and delayed retirement in an effort to negotiate the formation of the Iraqi government in 2010.
