The Pakistani Students' Association at the University of Michigan- Ann Arbor is hosting a day-long conference on Pakistan. Distinguished panelists will include experts on Pakistani politics and political economy. The panelists are S. Akbar Zaidi, an economist and expert on political economy of Pakistan; Sadia Saeed of Yale University; Amb. Howard Schaffer the former US Ambassador to Bangladesh; Nosheen Ali from the University of California-Berkeley; and Zahid Hussain the 2012 Woodrow Wilson Pakistan Scholar.

Panel 1: United States-Pakistan Relations (12.30 pm - 1.45 pm)
Panel 2: Terrorism, Religion, and Society in Pakistan (2.15 pm - 3.45 pm)
Panel 3: Developments in Domestic Politics (4 pm - 5.30 pm)

Refreshments will be served.
