Giving
The Ford School extends a heartfelt thanks to our alumni, donors, and friends for your support. Your contributions have done much to build the Ford School’s resources, provide financial assistance to our students in the form of fellowship and internship support, finance the construction of Joan and Sanford Weill Hall, and significantly increase endowment funding. With your support and involvement we can continue to enhance the caliber of policy education and research at the Ford School.

Other Giving Options Double or Triple your Gift... Find out if your or your spouse’s employer matches gifts. You may be able to double or even triple the impact of your own giving with a matching gift. Establish a Fitting Legacy... A planned gift helps to ensure the excellence of a Ford School education for generations to come. Your gift can also provide financial and tax benefits for you, your heirs, and others you care about. Pledge for the Future... Major gifts to the school may be pledged over a 2-to-5-year period. Use your Investments... By making a gift of appreciated securities or stock to the Ford School, you avoid capital gains taxes and receive a charitable deduction, and the actual cost to you is often less than the value of your gift. All gifts to the Ford School are fully tax-deductible for federal income tax purposes, and subject to any limitations placed on charitable gifts. For residents of Michigan, these gifts also qualify the donor for a state tax credit. For more information about any of the planned giving opportunities mentioned above, contact Dan Ginis. |
