May 6, 2010

Dave Harding, an assistant professor in sociology, has been presented with the 2011 Henry Russel Award. Harding, who will join the Ford School faculty in the fall, received this award for his "exceptional scholarship and conspicuous ability as a teacher." The Russel Award is one of the highest awards given to junior faculty and was established in 1925 with a bequest from Henry Russel of Detroit, who received three degrees from U-M.
