Levy explains why ACA unlikely to impact health care coverage provided by employers

In a UPI article, Helen Levy addresses concerns about how health care reform will impact coverage provided by employers. Levy argues that the changes stemming from the ACA should not be a major cause for concern for those who rely on employers for coverage and will actually be a competitive advantage for small firms, stating:

"That's going to be less of an issue now that workers will have the option of getting coverage from someone other than an employer, and we expect that to improve the quality of the worker job matches that are seen in the labor market, and that is good for everyone."

Levy also addressed this issue in a recent Policy Points video, in which she explained why a functioning health care exchange system is a benefit, not a threat, to small businesses.
