Call for nominations: Neil Staebler Distinguished Service Award

May 31, 2011
The Ford School Alumni Board is now accepting nominations for the 2011 Neil Staebler Distinguished Service Award. The Staebler Award recognizes a Ford School alumnus or alumna for outstanding professional achievement consistent with Neil Staebler's dedication to excellence in public service.

The Neil Staebler Distinguished Service Award is a program of the Neil Staebler Fund for Political Education. The Staebler Fund was established in 1987 to honor Neil Staebler, one of Michigan's leading political activists. His public life was devoted to improving democratic government by increasing the participation of citizens in all aspects of public affairs. Mr. Staebler passed away in 2000.

Any member of the Ford School community is invited to submit a nomination (due June 30, 2011). The Ford School Alumni Board will review nominees and announce the recipient in September 2011.
