Financial Aid for PhD Students

PhD students are supported by a combination of fellowships, research assistantships, and teaching stipends for five years, as long as they maintain satisfactory progress in the program. Students are encouraged to seek both teaching and research experience. All students recommended for admission to the Joint PhD Program are offered a fellowship package for the first five academic years of study.
