Equipped for impact
Why do employers seek Ford School graduates? For their ability to solve tough problems. Our students are prepared to analyze and evaluate policies, measure impacts, size up options, and lead—using an approach that integrates an understanding of political and regulatory environments with a full toolkit of quantitative and communication skills. Our graduates work across all sectors, applying their skills to the world’s most complex problems, including health care cost containment, educational achievement gaps, national security, poverty and inequality, and urban revitalization, among others.
The Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy offers degrees designed to prepare students for careers in policy analysis and public management. Through rigorous curricula and experiences both in and out of the classroom, students gain the hands–on experience and skills necessary for employment in public, private, and non–profit organizations.
