“Susatinability” can mean many different things. But how does sustainability work in the “real world” and what are the tradeoffs that can often be made? Are they appropriate? Do they “sell” the concept of sustainability short? This course explores these and other questions about the future of sustainability. Each participant will have an opportunity to answer the questions for themselves. Core events of this course include visits to/from local organizations and individuals who practice their own interepretation of sustainability as a part of their jobs.
