Students of Color in Public Policy and The Center for Racial Justice would like to invite you to attend an in-person, student-led discussion on migration and refugee policy.

This event will be facilitated by Ford school students Abigail Johnson, Fanta Condé, Marissa Uchimura, and Young Chan Lim. This discussion will complement Dr. Jennifer Lee's talk, "Racial foundations of immigration policy," on November 9th at 4pm. The event will:

  1. provide a space for students to reflect on the themes discussed in Dr. Lee's talk and begin to process the images of Haitian migrants being turned away from the U.S. border in September and
  2. start conversations regarding the racial implications of migration and refugee policy in the U.S.
