The faculty and staff of the Ford School are back at work after the holiday break, looking forward to welcoming our students back and getting started on the winter 2021 semester.

The promise of COVID vaccines brings some hope and light to these days, even as the deaths and infection rates soar and so many are suffering from loss, sickness, grief, and loneliness.

Meanwhile we watch this week in horror and anger as members of domestic hate groups attack the U.S. Capitol, their violence encouraged and emboldened by political leaders and media outlets.

On January 20, 2021 President-Elect Joe Biden and Vice-President Elect Kamala Harris will be inaugurated.

On Thursday, January 21 at noon, let’s come together and talk about what’s happening, what’s next for our world and our school--and how to keep our community strong.

Dean Barr will share a few thoughts, then we’ll move to breakout rooms and invite students, faculty, and staff to share their thoughts, feelings, experiences, questions, and analysis. This gathering will give the Ford School community a chance to connect virtually and talk through the issues of the day.
