The International Policy Research Seminar (IPRS) is a multi-disciplinary speaker series that showcases research-in-progress on international phenomena presented by invited (external) faculty guests. This year’s theme is “Constructing and Destructing Global Orders.”  Please join Dr. Tamma Carleton as she discusses her climate change-focused research.

About the Speaker

Professor Tamma Carleton is an Assistant Professor at the Bren School of Environmental Science & Management at UC Santa Barbara. She is the Director of the Climate & Energy program at the Environmental Markets Lab, an affiliate of the Climate Impact Lab, an affiliate of the Center for Effective Global Action, and a faculty research fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research. Her research focuses on questions at the intersection of environmental change and economic development, especially issues related to climate and water. She frequently uses remote sensing techniques in her research.
