This symposium is organized by the African Studies Center and co-sponsored by the Weiser Diplomacy Center and the Center for Middle Eastern and North African Studies

The symposium aims to bring together a diverse group of scholars, policymakers, and practitioners to explore the complex geopolitical, socio-economic, and cultural dynamics shaping Sudan's present and future. Through a series of panel discussions, keynote addresses, and interactive sessions, the symposium will delve into topics such as, human rights, geopolitics, economic development, and cultural heritage preservation. By fostering constructive dialogue and knowledge exchange, the symposium seeks to contribute to a deeper understanding of Sudan's realities and to identify pathways toward sustainable peace, prosperity, and resilience.
