Danziger began his tenure as President of the Russell Sage Foundation in August 2013.

The conference will feature four research panels on the topics of:

  • Race and Immigration

The conference will also feature a dinner honoring Sheldon Danziger (invitation only), and a closing lunch with remarks by Melvin Oliver, Sara Miller McCune Dean of Social Sciences, Executive Dean of the College of Letters and Sciences, and Professor of Sociology at the University of California, Santa Barbara (invitation only).
