Date & time

Nov 10, 2016, 4:00-5:30 pm EST

Location

Annenberg Auditorium Weill Hall

Consideration of the the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade agreement has been postponed until after the election, when it may come up for a vote in Congress.

Ford School Professor Alan Deardorff will moderate this two-person panel on the pros and cons of the TPP. The two speakers, one from academia and one from the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO), are likely to have divergent views on whether the TPP would be good for the US and the world, and whether it should be approved.

Panelists are Celeste Drake (AFL-CIO) and Emily Blanchard (Assistant Professor at Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College).
