Location

All members of the Ford School community are warmly encouraged to attend a fun and festive dessert reception paying tribute to the legacy of Mrs. Betty Ford as we near the 100th anniversary of her birth.

Join us for a lively dessert reception (complete with a chocolate fountain!) as we celebrate the legacy of a woman whose advocacy, courage, and humor has helped so many others.

Dean Michael Barr will host the event, and we'll hear brief standing remarks from family and friends, including:

  • Mike Ford, eldest son of Betty and Gerald Ford
  • Congresswoman Debbie Dingell, Representative for Michigan's 12th District, U.S. House of Representatives
  • Philanthropist Susan Rogel, friend of Betty Ford
  • Nadine Jawad, Ford School BA '18

This event is co-hosted by Women and Gender in Public Policy.
