The Youth Policy Lab at the University of Michigan conducts applied research in the areas of education, health care, juvenile justice and workforce development to improve opportunities for young people in Michigan and beyond. We partner with state and local agencies, nonprofits and policymakers to develop and evaluate interventions for youth ages 0-25.

Building effective partnerships is an essential part of our work. We are pleased to have two of the Lab's faculty affiliate experts to share their experience with partnership work in Southeast Michigan. Dr. Gerber and Dr. Shanks will partner to discuss their community-based work and share best practices in building effective relationships.
