The Ford School of Public Policy and Michigan Law School are co-sponsoring a Critical Race Theory (CRT) Lunch Series for graduate and professional students during the 2018-19 academic year. The series will use CRT to foster a dialogue on important issues of U.S. public policy, ranging from activism to the gentrification of physical spaces to inequalities in health and health care. Each session will focus on an optional reading, and large and small group dialogue will be facilitated by a faculty discussant.
Dr. Phyllis Meadows, our Towsley Policymaker in Residence, will host a discussion on "Race, Class, and Health Inequities" in our last installment of the Critical Race Theory Discussion Series. Please join us for this special opportunity to hear from Dr. Meadows as she shares her expertise as senior Fellow of the Kresge Foundation and former Associate Dean for Public Health Practice. Phyllis Meadows is a Harry A. and Margaret D. Towsley Policymaker in Residence at the Ford School for the winter 2019 semester and a senior fellow in The Kresge Foundation’s health program.
