Here's how to get started and what you need to know before you arrive in Ann Arbor.

Explore funding opportunities and apply for financial aid

  1. Look for an email from our Student & Academic services team on March 11 with admissions and funding details.
     
  2. Apply to the fellowships below—see links for details and eligibility.
  3. U.S. citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to complete their FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) so that it is received by U-M by March 31, 2024. Visit the U-M Financial Aid Dates & Deadlines list for more detail.
     
  4. Submit a request for Ford School funding reconsideration by April 14.

Accept admission

Accept your admission via the email you will receive from the Rackham School of Graduate Studies. Deadlines vary—please be sure to respond by the date listed in your individual Ford School admissions email.
