Ford School alum Marc Holzer (MPA '67) receives Distinguished Research Award

Marc Holzer (MPA '67) has been selected by the National Association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration (NASPAA) and the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) as the recipient of the 2009 Distinguished Service Award. This award recognizes the research of an individual whose published work has made a substantial impact on the thought and understanding of public administration.

Holzer is Dean of the School of Public Affairs and Administration and Board of Governors Professor of Public Affairs and Administration at Rutgers University’s Newark Campus. He is a Fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration and of the World Academy of Productivity Science. Holzer received his MPA ('67) and PhD ('71) from the University of Michigan.
