Ford School announces results of Alumni Board elections

January 18, 2010

Six new members have been elected to the Ford School's Alumni Board. The Alumni Board strives to help increase the visibility of the Ford School, strengthen the alumni network, and assist the school with student recruitment, career services, and alumni relations activities.

Jeff Barnes (MPP '09), Bulbul Gupta (MPP '04), Paul Hanna (MPP '05), Maggie Koziol (MPP '07), Victor H. Miesel (MPP '89), and Nichole (Green) Shepardson (MPP '01) were elected in 2009 and began their term on January 1, 2010. Elizabeth Brouwer (BA '09) was also appointed as a new Ex-Officio Board member. As a member of the Ford School's first undergraduate class, Brouwer will be helping the Board determine the best ways to engage alums of the school's BA program.

The Board is comprised of 18 elected members who serve three-year terms and three ex-officio members. Every year, six seats become open for election to encourage broad alumni involvement and representation on the Board.
