In recognition of her commitment to fostering the intellectual, creative, scholarly, and professional growth of graduate students, Mary Corcoran has been selected to receive a 2010 Rackham Distinguished Graduate Mentor Award.
This award was created to honor and encourage the considerable efforts of faculty who consistently mentor doctoral students as advisors, teachers, advocates, sponsors, and role models—ensuring that the experience of dedicated scholars and artists remains accessible to the full spectrum of graduate students. The award’s formal presentation will take place at the Rackham Amphitheater on April 15, 2010 at 2 p.m.
