MPP student Christopher Mueller wins Dow-sponsored team sustainability innovation competition
April 5, 2010
Mueller's project, called "Hippo Water International: A Simple Design Can Change the World," was created by graduate students from the Ford School, the Ross School of Business, and the School of Natural Resources and Environment. The team’s project presented a business model to help developing countries manage water resources more efficiently.
The Dow Sustainability Innovation Student Challenge encourages students to research and innovate new, sustainable solutions for the world’s social, economic, and environmental problems. Challenge winners were chosen by a multidisciplinary U-M committee and recognized at an award ceremony held at the Ross School of Business. Teams are expected to use the prize money as funding to continue the research and development of their winning project.
