Wolfers challenges students, colleagues to economics pumpkin carving contest

November 2, 2016

On October 24, Justin Wolfers challenged fellow economists and Ford School students to an economics pumpkin carving competition.

In hopes that this will become an ongoing tradition, we’re documenting entries from the 2016 #EconoPumpkin contest including:

  • "The invisible hand," by Maxwell Moore, winner of the undergraduate division, and
  • "Surplus and quotas" by Shen Ni (MPP/MBA '18), winner of the graduate division.
