Ford School Dean Michael S. Barr’s guest column in the most recent Michigan Alumnus Magazine highlights activities related to the upcoming 2020 presidential debate at the University of Michigan. This includes the Ford School’s Weiser Diplomacy Center (WDC) welcoming representatives from countries across the globe for a symposium on electoral best practices and key democratic principles and practices, in partnership with the Commission on Presidential Debates and National Democratic Institute (NDI). Barr is playing a leading role in planning campus events as a co-chair for the 2020 debate steering committee.
