Conversations across time zones

Through a full slate of Policy Talks, the Ford School virtually hosted notable experts and drew in thousands of viewers across the world. Visitors included U.S. Representatives Elissa Slotkin (D-MI) and Peter Meijer (R-MI) (Conversations Across Differences), U.S. Rep. Lauren Underwood (D-IL), Dr. Tressie McMillan Cottom, Coach John Beilein, former New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu, and more.

From apple picking and pumpkin carving to virtual events and Zoom trivia—and, recently, to a joyful gathering at Allmendinger Park of our second Master of Public Affairs cohort, now fully vaccinated.

Students and student organizations have remained a lifeblood of our community this year, continuing to create space for each other and impact in their work.
