Support what you love about the Ford School on Giving Blueday - March 10!

March 5, 2021 Giving Blueday

Wednesday, March 10, 2021 marks Giving Blueday, an annual day of giving celebration for U-M.

Each gift to the Ford School, no matter the size, will make a difference. And this year, through a generous challenge offered by the Borish Family, every donation makes an even bigger impact.

When the Ford School receives gifts from 50 donors on March 10, the Borish Family will contribute $25,000 for student support.

Passion for the Ford School and The University of Michigan is a family affair for the Borish family. Peter Borish (MPP ‘82), president of Computer Trading Corporation, is also the co-founder of the Robin Hood Foundation, now the largest anti-poverty organization in New York City. His daughter, Eliza, is a 2017 BA graduate from the Ford School, too! His wife, Julie, and their other children, Isabel and Harley, are all U-M grads as well.

"The Ford School has been an important part of our family,” says Peter Borish.  “It touches all the salient points of our interest: policy, poverty, politics and how these all impact global markets."

This is the University’s seventh annual Giving Blueday, which until this year, was held in November.
