Micah Baum

Admitted: Fall 2021

Micah is a PhD student in Public Policy & Economics and an NSF Graduate Research Fellow. He studies the effects of geography and public policy on economic inequality and mobility, with a particular interest in education and housing. Previously, he worked as a Research Assistant at Johns Hopkins University and twice served as an AmeriCorps and City Year member. Micah grew up in Madison, Wisconsin and graduated from Boston University with a BA in Economics and Sociology.
