Aaron Sepulveda is a Michigan Data & Policy Fellow with the Youth Policy Lab. Through his fellowship placement with the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity, he will work on improving employment and training outcomes for justice-system involved Michiganders. His fellowship was generously funded by a new partner of YPL's - the Michigan Justice Fund.
Previously, Aaron served as a research analyst of international affairs, generally within the context of West Africa. Aaron holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Minnesota and master's and bachelor's degrees in anthropology from Case Western Reserve University. Professionally, Aaron is motivated by the integration of data into decision-making, for the purposes of improving community livelihoods; personally, Aaron is a devoted hobby baker and - probably not coincidentally—a joyful eater.
