Alexander Fertig

Admitted: Fall 2019

Alexander Fertig received a BA in Mathematics and Economics from Wesleyan University and an MPA from the Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs. His current research interests are in development economics and political economy. Before starting his PhD, Alexander was working with Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) in Namibia and Myanmar, managing large surveys and randomized controlled trials of public health, agriculture, and finance projects. He is pursuing a joint degree with the Economics Department and the School of Public Policy.
