Shawn Martin

Shawn Martin is a Ph.D candidate in Economics and Public Policy and a fellow in the Predoctoral Training Program in Causal Inference in Education Policy Research. She studies the labor market outcomes of college graduates and differences by the graduate's college major and type of institution attended. Shawn graduated from the University of California – San Diego with a B.S. in Economics and from Georgetown University with a M.S. in Applied Mathematics & Statistics. While in D.C., she was a research assistant at SRI International and at the Comptroller of the Currency. Prior to Georgetown University, Shawn worked as a classroom teacher, curriculum developer and teacher training instructor through a two-year fellowship with Teach for China.
