This event takes place on October 1, 3:30 - 8:00 pm and October 2, 9:00 - 5:00 pm.

Colonel Chad Jagmin, director of the Department of Strategic Wargaming, and Mr. Ed "Cliffy" Zukowski, ISCNE program director, from the Center for Strategic Leadership at the U.S. Army War College will host this simulation. Through this simulation students will learn about the conflict in the Jammu and Kashmir region and be tasked with using diplomacy to address a variety of issues regarding this long-standing conflict.

Eligibility

  • Open to all University of Michigan students, but the simulation capacity is limited to 42 students. Depending on interest, attendees may be selected at random, and those chosen will be notified via email to confirm their attendance.
  • Participants are required to attend both sessions.
  • The sign up closed on September 13.

Health and safety

Attendees are expected to follow current University of Michigan health and safety protocols, including the use of face masks inside all campus buildings, and should complete the mandatory ResponsiBLUE screening prior to entering Weill Hall, regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status.
