About our speaker

Scott Henry is a Senior Data Scientist at Cisco, focusing on analyzing product data of cyber security applications to help keep companies safer. He studied at the University of Michigan, where he taught Data Science, wrote policy briefs on the equity of public sector algorithms for the University of Michigan Law Workers' Rights Clinic, and worked on his thesis on the policy implications of ridesharing demand in Chicago. Previously, Scott was a Data Scientist and Innovation Policy Consultant at the World Bank, where he researched innovation and entrepreneurship in cities.

Scott holds a Master of Science in Information from the University of Michigan, a Graduate Certificate in Science, Technology, and Public Policy from the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Computer Science and Business from the University of British Columbia.
