The Center For Michigan: The Center for Michigan is a 'think-and-do tank' founded by Phil Power in early 2006. A 501(c)3 non-profit organization, The Center's objective is to assist our state through its current period of wrenching economic trouble and to lay the foundation of informed hope for a better future Michigan. It will help develop and execute comprehensive, long-range and, in some cases, radical policy solutions to transform Michigan's business, economic, political and cultural climate. In so doing, it will work to help reform the structure and workings of Michigan's political system.

Michigan Prospect: The Michigan Prospect was formed in 1992 by a group of citizens committed to the principles of a just and humane society. Representing the viewpoints of business, education, labor, law, nonprofit agencies, and the public sector, the Michigan Prospect continues to be led by a diversity of perspective more than a decade later. The mission of the Michigan Prospect is to connect citizens and government in order to advance a just and humane democratic society. We encourage the development of sound public policies and effective public institutions through informed debate. Read more about What We Do to learn how the Michigan Prospect is committed to shaping the future of our state.

Mackinac Center For Public Policy: The Mackinac Center for Public Policy is a nonpartisan research and educational institute dedicated to improving the quality of life for all Michigan citizens by promoting sound solutions to state and local policy questions. The Mackinac Center assists policy makers, scholars, business people, the media and the public by providing objective analysis of Michigan issues. The goal of all Center reports, commentaries and educational programs is to equip Michigan citizens and other decision makers to better evaluate policy options.
