In collaboration with the IEDP board, the International Policy Student Association (IPSA) will host a film screening of My Imaginary Country.

My Imaginary Country is a documentary that covers the protests that exploded onto the streets of Chile's capital of Santiago in 2019 as the population demanded more democracy and social equality around education, healthcare and job opportunities. As we have seen in recent days, protests have erupted across South America in Brazil and Peru, with citizens demanding more of their governments (or in opposition). This documentary will give insight into the structural inequalities that exist in Chile and what pushed people to protest for reform.

Popcorn and candy will be provided as light snacks for the viewing party.
