Hernandez shortlisted for top leadership award

August 2, 2021

Ford School professor Morela Hernandez has been shortlisted for the Thinkers50 (T50) Distinguished Achievement Awards, one of eight people highlighted from around the world for their work around leadership. Hernandez is the faculty director of the school's Leadership Initiative.

T50 has published a global ranking of management thinkers every two years since 2001, and promotes its mission that ideas will make the world a better place, based on three core beliefs: “ideas have the power to change the world; management is essential to human affairs; and new thinking can create a better future.”

Regarding the leadership category, T50 notes, “the nature of leadership and how we understand the role of the leader is constantly evolving and being reappraised. The T50 Leadership Award acknowledges thinkers who shed powerful and original new light onto this perennial and yet classic subject.”

Winners of the awards will be announced during the T50 Awards Gala 2021 on November 15 and 16.
