Join Dr. Estelle E. Archibold, the Leadership Initiative, and the Center for Racial Justice for a virtual session about restorative justice and its policy implications. Dr. Archibold will share research insights and her lived experiences working with organizations, policymakers, court officials, and communities to implement restorative justice. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of restorative justice, its policy/practice interface, and how Dr. Archibold's research supports organizations and policymakers to make critical decisions in their practice. Participants will also receive valuable resources from which to learn about restorative justice.

This event is open to all Ford School students, faculty, and staff.

About the speaker

Dr. Estelle E. Archibold is a post-doctoral fellow at Pennsylvania State University. She is an organizational behavior researcher who uses mixed and multi-modal research methods to study generative conflict, emotion work, ethical voice, and social innovations in organizations. Her research draws on insights from more than fifteen years of academic study and practice regarding conflict transformation, community and public health, reconciliation, and ethics in the United States and abroad. Dr. Archibold collaborates with scholars and practitioners to explore the impact of cross-cultural transformative leadership, restorative justice, and social movements on public policy discourse and decision-making.
