Spring Preview Weekend for Admitted Students

Spring Preview is designed to help you make the most informed decision about our school. With this in mind, we have organized a program that will allow you structured time with our faculty, staff, and students. You will also have ample time to meet and mingle with us informally.

Friday, April 8 Time Event 9:30 Registration

10:00–11:00 Introduction to the Ford School & Overview of the Curriculum

11:00–12:00 Faculty Panel
Members of the Ford School faculty will discuss their research and teaching. They will describe the elective offerings at the Ford School in areas such as science and technology policy, health policy, environmental policy, and international relations and diplomacy.

12:00–2:00 Lunch
Student Guides will be available to give tours of Weill Hall.

2:00–3:30 Student Panel

3:30–4:45 Alumni Panel
Members of the Ford School Alumni Board will discuss their career paths and talk about the many ways in which they have used their policy degrees. After brief presentations, they will respond to questions from the audience. Board members work in a range of areas including the public and private sectors. This relaxed session will give you a chance to learn more about career possibilities.

4:45–5:30 Reception with the Ford School Community

6:00 Dinner
Hosted by Student Affairs Committee (SAC).

11:30–12:00 Ford School Student Organizations
Members of the Ford School's student organizations will introduce themselves and their organizations. These students will be joining you for lunch and also hosting an organization fair. The fair will be held in the Frey Classroom (1210 Weill Hall) during lunch. Be sure to stop by each organization's table and hear more about their activities.
