Following the film, Michigan Precision Health will sponsor a panel discussion featuring Ford School's Shobita Parthasarathy and U-M faculty David Ginsburg, and Zen Buddhist teacher Sam Ewalt. They will explore the subject from scientific, public policy, and spiritual perspectives.

About the Film:
CRISPR technology is one of the most exciting and controversial scientific breakthroughs of the 21st century, and the applications of CRISPR are varied, ethically fraught, and not completely understood. In the documentary Human Nature, filmmakers look at CRISPR from the perspectives of scientists, bioengineers, and patients, and explore potential implications of the gene-editing that CRISPR makes possible.
