Doug Brook (MPA '67) honored with Naval Postgraduate School teaching excellence award

Ford School alumnus Doug Brook (MPA '67) was awarded the prestigious 2011 Naval Postgraduate School's Louis D. Liskin Award for Teaching Excellence.

The Graduate School of Business and Public Policy's graduating class of students select the Liskin Award recipient. It is given to a faculty member who demonstrates great dedication to the learning and intellectual growth of students and, through that dedication, has the greatest impact on individual students and the class as a whole.

Brook received the Ford School's Neil Staebler Alumni Service Award in 2009 for his distinguished career in public service. He also served as the Ford School's Harry A. and Margaret D. Towsley Foundation Policymaker in Residence in 2009.
