The Wall Street Journal quoted Susan M. Dynarski on how student loan debt has impacted upper-middle-income households

Thursday, August 9, 2012

The Wall Street Journal quoted Susan M. Dynarski on how student loan debt has impacted upper-middle-income households. [Registration Required]

Dynarski, who testified before the U.S. Senate Committee on Finance in July regarding college savings programs in the tax code, said reduced taxpayer support for higher education has led students from even relatively well-off families to increase their level of borrowing.

"The boomers are the first generation shifting the cost of college to their kids," Dynarski told the Journal.
