Randomized control trials in field settings (field experiments) are a powerful research methodology that is shedding new light on a wide variety of development problems worldwide. This course will cover design, implementation, and interpretation of field experiments in developing countries, and will also cover the methodology’s strengths and limitations. Advisory prerequisite: PubPol 639, PubPol 571, or equivalent.
