Designed for working professionals, the Ford School’s Online MPA makes it possible to further your education without pausing your career. Weekly live, synchronous sessions are scheduled in the evenings, making it easier to participate after your workday. Complete additional coursework on your own schedule, and start the program in January or August—whichever works best for you.
Sharpen your skill set with 30 credits through interactive online classes on public policy creation and analysis, public sector and nonprofit leadership, economics, policy writing, negotiation, financial management, political analysis, and other relevant topics.
Real-world impact goes beyond the classroom with two required residential experiences in Ann Arbor. Held over two extended weekends on campus, these immersive sessions are designed to deepen your leadership development, strengthen your management skills, and build lasting connections with peers and faculty. You'll engage in applied learning tied directly to your core curriculum while experiencing the vibrant University of Michigan community.
