Enrollment in this course is restricted to Ford School Online MPA students. Requests for enrollment will be denied.

Developed for the Online MPA program, this course examines how power and politics shape public policy. Through practical case studies, students build tools to analyze institutions, navigate competing interests, communicate insights effectively and act strategically in complex policy environments across government, nonprofit, and cross-sector settings.

Students who will not be located in the state of Michigan when completing coursework can find state-specific complaint resolution policies and procedures on the U-M Distance Education Disclosures page.
