Hands-on, practical experiences
Date & Time
LocationThis is a Virtual Event.
We believe in an applied approach to learning, including interactions with people and organizations outside the university actively working on public policy. In this session, learn about the wide range of opportunities for students to engage with real-world policy issues in the classroom and through research, activities, and workshops. This session features Professor John Ciorciari, director of the Weiser Diplomacy Center and International Policy Center; Professor Liz Gerber, director of the Program for Practical Policy Engagement; Professor Shobita Parthasarathy, director of the Science, Technology, and Public Policy program; and Professor Luke Shaefer, associate dean for research and policy engagement and director of Poverty Solutions. Student Academic Services will also be on hand to answer questions about the application process.
