Food for Thought March 2025
Date & time
Location

We have a special version of the "Food for Thought" lunch coming up in March. Our next meeting will take place on Wednesday, March 19th from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the first floor Paul and Nancy O’Neill Classroom, Room 1230.
We will be joined by the Ford School Leadership Initiative’s Bridge Builders, who aim to advance conversations across differences by fostering constructive dialogue within the Ford School community. These conversations provide a valuable opportunity for students to gain everyday tools for navigating difficult or tension-filled conversations – whether with a roommate or a highly controversial political topic. Additionally, according to the Constructive Dialogue Institute, employers increasingly prefer candidates who can engage in constructive dialogue, making it an important career skill as well.
Plus, there will be free pizza! We’d love to see you there.
If you are interested in joining us, RSVP here, or contact Claire Lowande ([email protected]).
About "Food for Thought"
These are monthly opportunities for Ford School students, faculty, and staff to come together and discuss interesting and policy-relevant stories in the news. This semester, we would like the format to be a more informal and free-flowing conversation instead of simply a faculty expert giving remarks and answering questions. The idea is to provide a forum for you to talk through the news of the day with some of our faculty -- and be treated to free pizza! The conversations are not recorded and are not open to the press. Space is limited, so look for a monthly RSVP email to reserve your spot.
